SBG Global, like most online sportsbooks, was still accepting last minute bets on the first round of the NCAA Tournament (see SBG Global website here).  Games played later will have lines remain up as well.  But generally speaking, the most wagers would be coming in the overnight and early morning hours leading up to Game Time (noon).

Last minute bets could be placed using a Visa, Master Card or Instant Bank Transfers.

So which NCAA Tournament teams were getting the most betting action overnight?

Notre Dame was the clear cut winner and has been all week long since the line first opened.

Richmond came in a close second.  BYU, Northern Iowa and UTEP were right up there as well across the board.

The NCAA Tournament is widely regarded as one of the biggest betting events of the year.  Unlike the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby and Oscars, wagering is spread over nearly an entire month's period.

Gambling911.com was reporting record traffic for the past three days related to the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.  In fact, Selection Sunday traffic beat out that of the Oscars, widely regarded among the top 5 biggest online betting events of the year.
