NCAA Tournament odds for Cornell vs. Kentucky had the Wildcats an 8 ½ point favorite at SBG Global.  This game goes off Thursday, 9:55 pm Eastern - CBS

Most people expect Kentucky to dispatch of Cornell on Thursday in the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA Tournament but the Big Red may not be an easy team to get rid of. Cornell is very well coached, experienced and they have dominated so far in this year's tourney.  Kentucky is the top seed while Cornell is the twelve seed and that is one reason the Wildcats are favored.

Cornell was really not challenged in the first two rounds as they routed Temple by 13 points and then demolished Wisconsin by 18.  Kentucky may have the young talent but Cornell has the experience with four senior starters.  "We're just getting started,'' said 7-foot center Jeff Foote, "We have a really special team and we're capable of a special run.''

Foote is the inside force for Cornell while Ryan Wittman is the outside shooter.  Cornell can shoot the ball well and they don't get rattled. "It's tough when you shoot 52 percent in the first half and you're still down by 12,'' said Wisconsin coach Bo Ryan. "They can beat you in so many ways.''

Cornell may have the ability and the experience to give Kentucky a game. That didn't happen in the first two rounds as the Wildcats routed East Tennessee State and Wake Forest.  "Obviously we have a lot of seniors on our team,'' said Wittman. "And I think that is something that motivated us. Not only throughout the season, but in the offseason, just knowing that this was our last shot to come here and make some noise and win some games.''

Cornell is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games overall. They are 36-15 ATS in their last 51 non-conference games. The Big Red are 38-17-1 ATS in their last 56 games as an underdog. The Wildcats are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games odds as a favorite.

The Over is 5-2 in Cornell's last 7 non-conference games. The Over is 4-0 in the Wildcats last 4 NCAA Tournament games. The Over is 13-5 in the Wildcats last 18 NCAA Tournament games as a favorite.
