Ohio State-Syracuse Line at -3 Buckeyes: Elite Eight Betting Odds

While there is still plenty of Sweet 16 action on tap for Friday night, BetDSI.com already has the Ohio State-Syracuse line up for Saturday with the Buckeyes a -3 point favorite.

This is a rare situation in which the number two seeded team is a favorite over a number one seed.

Syracuse just barely managed to hold off Wisconsin Thursday night with a final score of 64-63.  While not an upset, the Orange did fail to cover the spread in this game.

Number one seed Syracuse, with just two losses on the season, shot 55 percent from the field.

"Offensively, we played very, very well and we had to play very, very well," Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said.

Number two seed Ohio State, meanwhile, had no problem putting away Cincinnati Thursday.

Deshaun Thomas and Jared Sullinger scored 24 of Ohio State's 30 paint points against Cincinnati. Thomas entered Thursday with the most paint points in the field and now has 42 points in the paint in the 2012 Men's Basketball Championship.

This game goes off at 7:05 pm EST Saturday night (March 23).
