Portland Trail Blazers vs. Phoenix Suns odds had the Suns as -8 ½ point favorites when they face off against Portland at home on Tuesday. The over/under is at 204.5.  Betting on this game was available at betED.com here.

Phoenix will try to bounce back from a surprising opening-game loss against the Trail Blazers when the teams meet for Game 2 of their Western Conference quarterfinal series.

After missing the playoffs last season, the Suns impressed many with a 54-win season and entered the 2010 NBA Playoffs on a roll, winning three straight and looking like a legitimate threat to unseat the Los Angeles Lakers as Western Conference champions.

Instead, Phoenix was the only NBA Playoff team to lose its opener at home this weekend, dropping a 105-100 decision Sunday as an 8.5-point favorite.

In spite of a head-to-head record that has seen the teams split the past 10, many thought the Trail Blazers would roll over for the Suns as they are riddled with injuries, including key players Brandon Roy and Greg Oden.

Making up for those injuries were LaMarcus Aldridge, who netted  22 points Sunday, and Nicolas Batum and Jerryd Bayless, who each chipped in 18 in the win. Marcus Camby was a monster on the boards, snagging a game-high 17 rebounds.

Former NBA MVP Steve Nash had his usual solid playoff performance, picking up 25 points and nine assists to lead the Suns.

Phoenix went into the game winning 14 of 16 and eight straight home games.
