The SMU vs. UConn betting line was available at BetDSI.com.  You can watch their preview for this critical game below.

SMU Mustangs Winning with Defense

The Mustangs are leading the American Conference and winning with defense. They are allowing just 59 points per game which is 22nd best in the country. The Mustangs have allowed more than 60 points per game just twice in their last ten games. The team is averaging almost 70 points per game this season. The Mustangs have been better at home against the spread than on the road as they were just 4-5-1 ATS in their first ten road games. They went under the total in six of those contests. SMU won’t be taking this game lightly as they are battling with Tulsa for the lead in the American Conference and can’t afford a loss.

Connecticut Huskies 2-7 ATS at Home

The Huskies have been a bad bet at home this season as they have covered just two of their nine games. The team is likely going to miss the NCAA Tourney unless they get on a big run and win the American Conference postseason tourney. The Huskies are averaging about 65 points per game and allowing just over 60 points per game. They have been a good team to bet under the total at home with six of their eight games with totals posted going under the NCAA basketball lines at the sportsbook.
