Tennessee will take on Michigan Sunday in this Elite Eight game that has the Wolverines as a -8 favorite.  The line has moved up a full point from -7,  and with good reason.   76% of the spread action was on Michigan here based on Pay Per Head odds data obtained by Gambling911.

What's at Stake

No. 3 Michigan takes on No. 23 Tennessee in the Elite Eight round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Wolverines' record in Big Ten games is 21-2, and their record is 13-1 in non-conference games. Michigan has a 5-1 record in games decided by less than 4 points.

The Volunteers are 12-8 against SEC teams. Tennessee averages 79.3 points while outscoring opponents by 10.4 points per game.

Michigan scores 87.5 points, 18.6 more per game than the 68.9 Tennessee allows. Tennessee averages 6.6 made 3-pointers per game this season, 1.8 fewer made shots on average than the 8.4 per game Michigan gives up.

Player Performance and Prop Bets

Trey McKenney is shooting 38.5% from beyond the arc with 1.7 made 3-pointers per game for the Wolverines, while averaging 9.7 points.

McKenney pays out around $188 for every $100 bet if he makes 3+ three-pointers in Sunday's game.

Yaxel Lendeborg is averaging 15.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists over the past 10 games.

He is priced at -152 to score 15+ points in this game and pays out $220 for every $100 bet to score 20+.

Fun Fact

While Lendeborg scored 20+ points in three games during the regular season, he's scored 20+ in three of the post season games also:

29 points vs Maryland
27 points vs Michigan State
21 points vs Duke
Postseason (Big Ten + NCAA Tournament)
20 points vs Purdue
25 points vs Saint Louis
23 points vs Alabama

From Rotowire

Lendeborg had just nine points in the NCAA Tournament opener against Howard in which Dusty May went deeper into his bench, but he bounced back Saturday with a five-game scoring high. All five Michigan starters reached double figures in this Round of 32 matchup, but Lendeborg led the way with clutch second-half shooting that helped the Wolverines pull away. Michigan will next play the winner of Sunday's matchup between Texas Tech and Alabama in the Sweet Sixteen.

Ja'Kobi Gillespie is shooting 33.9% from beyond the arc with 2.8 made 3-pointers per game for the Volunteers, while averaging 18.3 points, 5.5 assists and two steals.

He pays out $174 for every $100 bet to make four or more three-pointers in this game.  He will pay greater than $900 points with a 30+ scoring effort.

Fun Fact

Gillespie has yet to score more than 30 points this season, but he's come close.  He scored 29 points vs. Miami (OH) in the NCAA Tournament.

Gillespie registered 16 points (7-17 FG, 2-11 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 36 minutes during Friday's 76-62 victory over Iowa State.

Nate Ament is shooting 32.1% and averaging 10.5 points over the last 10 games.
