Trey Kaufman-Renn was coming in with a point scoring total over/under of 18.5 for Thursday's Sweet 16 game between Texas and Purdue.
Kaufman-Renn finished Sunday's 79-69 victory over Miami (FL) with 19 points (8-16 FG, 3-3 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and one steal over 35 minutes.

"Through two NCAA Tournament games, Kaufman-Renn has combined for 44 points and 18 rebounds, doing nearly all of his damage inside the paint. While this was a statistical "down" year given his preseason expectations, TKR has turned things up when it matters most in March."
