This game tips off Wednesday, 7:05 pm Eastern - NBA-TV

The Portland Trail Blazers will try and bounce back from a very tough loss on Monday as they host the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night in a NBA betting game that can be seen on NBA-TV.  The Blazers lost 98-97 on Monday to New Orleans and blew a late lead in the process while Utah is coming off a very nice win on Monday against Phoenix.

The loss to the Hornets really stung the Blazers as Chris Paul hit the game winning shot with 4 seconds left. The Blazers played well without the injured Brandon Roy but they let the game slip away.  "This is tough," Blazers coach Nate McMillan said. "This is tough to lose a game like this, especially on your floor."  The Blazers led 96-88 with just over three minutes left but scored only one more point the rest of the way. Portland is 2-3 in its last five games, including last-second losses to New Orleans and Boston. All of the Blazers' defeats have been by five points or less. "These guys have battled all season long," McMillan said. "And we're going to be in games like this. It's going to be like this for, I think, the rest of the season."

The home team has owned this series between the Jazz and Trail Blazers winning the last eight games. The Jazz have lost their last six at Portland and have not won there since 2006.

Utah has been playing better on the road of late. The Jazz are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. Utah is doing pretty well everywhere recently. The Jazz are 20-8-2 ATS in their last 30 games overall. They have struggled against the Northwest though as they are 2-9-1 ATS in their last 12 vs. the Northwest. The Jazz are 0-6 ATS in the last 6 NBA betting meetings in Portland.

Portland has excelled in the division of late, as they are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 vs. the Northwest. The Trail Blazers are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

The Over is 10-2 in Utah's last 12 vs. the Northwest. The Over is 4-1 in Utah's last 5 overall. The Over is 20-9-1 in Utah's last 30 road games. The Over is 5-1 in the Trail Blazers last 6 home games. The Over is 12-4 in the Trail Blazers last 16 overall. The Over is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings between the two teams.
