The VCU-Indiana line was coming in at -6 favoring the Hoosiers after Virginia Commonwealth stunned number five seed Wichita State on Thursday.  All 2012 NCAA Basketball Tournament betting odds can be found at WagerWeb.com here.  Claim up to $1000 in cash when you open an online betting account today.

Bradford Burgess hit a key 3-pointer with 1:33 left and the 12th-seeded Rams held off Wichita State 62-59 on Thursday night.

Last year, the Rams became only the third No. 11 seed to reach the Final Four.  This year, VCU is seeded one lower at number 12.

"Our guys did a good job executing our defensive plan," Virginia Commonwealth head coach Shaka Smart said of those final seconds in which Indiana was unable to score. "They didn't get a good look at a 3, and that's what won it for us."

Sixers? Knicks? Who Can Challenge Boston in the East this Season?

As the new NBA season gets underway, there is most certainly a sense that the Boston Celtics are the team to beat once again. The 18-time champions really took an “if it’s not broken, don’t try to fix it” policy in the offseason, and it’s hard to argue with the tactic.
