Los Angeles Lakers at Phoenix Suns
Saturday, 8:35 pm Eastern TNT

The Los Angeles Lakers will try and win the NBA Western Conference Finals on Saturday night in Phoenix.  The Lakers got a 103-101 win on Thursday night in Los Angeles as Ron Artest scored the game winner as time expired.  The win gives the Lakers a 3-2 lead as the series moves to Phoenix for Game 6.

The home team has won every game so far in this series and the Suns will try and keep that streak going as they look to even the series in Phoenix on Saturday night.  Thursday's game was a good one for the Lakers until late in the third quarter when they let Phoenix back in the game. Steve Nash had 29 points and 11 assists but the Suns still couldn't come away with a road win. Kobe Bryant had 30 points for the Lakers while Derek Fisher added 22.

Game 5 was looking like a Lakers rout late in the third quarter when Los Angeles led by 18 points.  The Suns got hot though and cut the lead to six points.  They carried that momentum into the fourth quarter but they didn't have quite enough to get over the hump.

Los Angeles has been excellent in Saturday games recently going 10-2 ATS in their last 12.  The Lakers are usually very good getting points as they are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 NBA playoff games as an underdog.  The Lakers are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in Phoenix. The Suns have been very good at home going 38-18-1 ATS in their last 57 home games. They have really struggled on Saturday's though, going 0-7 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games.

Looking at the total, the Over is 3-0-1 in the Lakers last 4 road games. The Over is 4-1-1 in the Lakers last 6 games as an underdog. The Over is 4-0 in the Suns last 4 home games. The Over is 6-2 in the Suns last 8 games as a favorite. The Over is 7-3 in the last 10 meetings between the two teams in Phoenix.
