Number one ranked Kansas comes into this game with a 29-5 record compared to Western Kentucky’s 20-15.

Washington Tucker of BetOnline writes of Kansas:

Kansas was one of the most successful teams in the country during the regular season, including an impressive 18-game win streak that kept them undefeated from mid-November to early February. Ben McLemore averaged over 16 points per game as he found his way in to the conversation for who will be the No. 1 pick in this year’s NBA draft, and Jeff Withey provided the perfect inside presence to compliment his skill with over 13 points and eight rebounds per game. However, the Jayhawks went through a three-game losing streak that included an inexplicable loss at TCU in early February and a blowout loss at Baylor earlier this month, and that exposed their vulnerabilities heading in to this tournament.

As a neutral court favorite of 12.5 or more points, Kansas did go 2-0 Against The Spread thus far this season.  They have gone 5-4 ATS over the past three seasons while going 8-1 Straight Up over that time.
