What is the spread on Kansas State vs. Butler in their Elite Eight Showdown?

Heading into Saturday afternoon, all reporting books except one offered the line on Kansas State at -4.  The lone exception was Sports Interaction.com, enticing sports bettors to take Butler at the +4 ½ point spread.  Kansas State was getting 70 percent of the public backing.

Coming off a win over Syracuse, the fifth-seeded Bulldogs (31-4) put their 23-game winning streak on the line against No. 2 Kansas State on Saturday in the West Regional final. Winner moves on. Loser goes home. For Butler, of course, the destination will be the same either way.

"When we sat down and made goals and thought about the season, we said, `Why not shoot for the ultimate goal?" forward Matt Howard said.

Butler is the first Horizon League school to reach a regional final.

For Kansas State it wasn't an easy task getting into the Elite Eight as they had to play double overtime in order to beat Xavier.

Jacob Pullen had 28 points and Denis Clemente 25. They are averaging 46 points combined in this tournament.

The 101 points scored are the most for the Wildcats since 2007 and the 197 combined points are the second most in a Sweet 16 game since 1985.
