“It’s unbelievable two-way action,” said MGM Resorts sports book hub manager Jeff Stoneback in an interview with Sporting News. “We only have a $1,500 differential with Wisconsin over Duke on cash taken and the same amount is shaded to the UNDER (139.5) as well."
Stoneback also noted most of the bets coming into his book had been small with the largest at $5000.
The Badgers stunned Kentucky in its Final Four matchup, thus dashing the Wildcats hopes for an undefeated season. Duke will be trying to give Mike Krzyzewski his fifth national championship while Wisconsin tries to capture its first in 74 years.
Both Wisconsin and Duke come into this final game as number one seeds. The Badgers lost only three regular season games. Duke enters this title game having lost four.
The Blue Devils (23-14-1 Against The Spread) beat Wisconsin at home last season as a +4 underdog. They are just 3-13-1 ATS in their last 17 Monday games.
