Xavier Has Given the Bookies Headaches This Month: Solid Opinion on Zags Cover

Xavier faces Gonzaga Saturday in the Elite Eight.  It is their third Elite Eight appearance in school history and first in nine years.

The bookies, especially those serving Xavier Territory in and around Cincinnati, have had their hands full this March.

Xavier have covered in all seven of their games dating back to March 4.  

Saturday’s game against the Zags could prove brutal for the books.  The Musketeers were seeing 80 percent of the action going into their Elite Eight game. 

With the books mostly holding at -8, and some even encouraging action on Xavier by moving the line to -8.5, they expect Gonzaga to cover here.

“The books see a huge victory by Gonzaga in this one,” notes Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.  “The exposure is the highest it’s been of any game in this year’s March Madness.  They have been winning thus far.  The Zags have also been exceptional both Straight Up and Against The Spread this season.”
