A.J. Brown total receiving yards were coming in with a total of 57.5 for Friday night's game between the Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles.

KICKOFF260

Brown caught 8-of-10 targets for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles’ Week 12 loss against the Cowboys.

From NBC Edge

It was a a season-high mark in receptions and 11 yard short of Brown’s season high in receiving yards. Brown nearly had a second touchdown on a well-thrown ball in the end zone but couldn’t quite get his second foot inbounds. He seemed satisfied with his usage for the first time in a long time even as the Eagles blew a 21-point lead with a stagnant offense in the second half. Brown’s constant public complaining about the Philly offense seems to have netted him more looks from Jalen Hurts. It’s a good thing for his fantasy prospects. On Sunday he was targeted on 23 percent of his routes. Brown will be a top-15 fantasy play in Week 13 against the Bears.

DeVonta Smith (shoulder/chest) was not seen at Wednesday’s practice.  He has been officially cleared to play for this Black Friday game.

Smith was listed with a total over/under of 53.5.

Smith caught 6-of-11 targets for 89 yards in the Eagles’ Week 12 win against the Cowboys.

From NBC Edge:

Smith led the Eagles in targets but came up short of A.J. Brown’s 110 yards and a touchdown against Dallas. Targeted on 24 percent of his routes, Smith came down with an incredible 41-yard grab — the longest of the night for the Eagles. It was a downfield catch that required Smith to become parallel with the ground and hold on to the ball through a hard fall to the turf. Smith last week had just one catch for eight yards as Jalen Hurts’ targets Brown relentlessly after Brown complained to team ownership about his lack of targets. Smith will be a top-30 option in Week 13 against the Bears.

NFL betting used to be built mostly around teams. Bettors looked at spreads, totals, moneylines, injuries, weather and coaching matchups. Those pieces are still there, but the modern football betting board is much more player-driven than it used to be.
