Great news Maryland, in addition to all the established offshore sportsbooks you've come to love over the past 20 years, the state has just regulated a few sports betting apps as well so that the variety for betting on this year's NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament (March Madness) has never been better. Scroll down below to compare the benefits of betting with in-state apps versus our friends at BetUS (now in their 29th year).

Your Terps are in the 2023 NCAA Tournament

Maryland came into their game against West Virginia as a +2.5 dog.

Maryland has been especially hot for bettors this season.  They've gone 21-12 both straight up and Against The Spread (ATS).

The Terps advance to the next round of play following a 67-65 win over the Mountaineers.

Julian Reese led No. 8 seed Maryland with 17 points and nine rebounds.  Hakim Hart had 15 points with four assists and scored the go-ahead basket as the Terrapins (22-12) ended the game on an 11-6 run.

Each of these players can be bet on individually through what are often high paying player prop bets available at BetUS.

The Terrapins will face a red hot Alabama in the 2nd round.

Terps March Madness History

The Terrapins are no strangers to the Big Dance.  They've appeared in six over the last eight seasons.  They've actually been consistently strong dating back to the mid-80s, even winning the Championship in 2002.

BetUS offers some great options that are comparible, if not better, to those of the state-regulated apps.  "Regulated" should be placed in quotes as there have been countless documented issues with these apps in recent months - everything from crashing to account compromises - that have not been adequately addressed.
