Someone at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue got the Fourth of July fireworks started a little early, though this news coming during a four-day holiday period certainly had to be a blow to news organizations mostly showing reruns and rehashed news via skeleton crews.

According reports Tuesday morning, the Secret Service discovered a white substance with a powdery texture at the White House Sunday evening, which lead to a temporary evacuation of the premises.

The Secret Service sent the powder for further evaluation and testing, but everyone assumes it was cocaine. The substance was found in the West Wing in a Ziplock baggie.

Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesperson for the Secret Service, stated there is an investigation is currently underway to determine how it entered the White House

Naturally, BetOnline concocted odds as to who brought blow into President Biden's home. Was it the president looking for a little extra go juice ahead of the busy holiday? Or perhaps a celebrity or athlete who recently visited? Of course, many are pointing the finger at Hunter Biden.

"We made Hunter Biden the favorite with 2/1 odds. Super Bowl champion and Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, who is known to be a bit of an outlaw, has the second-lowest odds after he and the team recently visited the White House."

By Thursday afternoon, the New York Post had caught on and heralded Hunter as "riding high as the favorite".  News Corp owns the Post and Fox News, which was also carrying the story.

The substance has since been confirmed as cocaine.  Cameras and visitor logs have also been under review.

BetOnline's odds were expected to be updated with a White House visitor
