The Edgewater Casino Resort in Laughlin, Nevada reports that a California guest just won a $1.5 million jackpot playing the popular Wheel of Fortune slot on Friday.
The individual, identified only as "Edgar" turned a $3 spin into $1,527,942, making him Edgewater's newest millionaire.
The venue features 67,600 square feet of state-of-the-art casino thrills, a sun-splashed pool and spa and marvelous restaurants to comfortable and affordable accommodations.
The Wheel of Fortune slot, based on the lone airing game show of the same name, is said to pay jackpot of $100,000 or more is won approximately every 72 hours, and the brand has awarded more than $3.5 billion in jackpots over its lifetime.
