Bookmakers Going All in on eSports Partnerships

According to an ESI eSports Insider report, gambling sponsorships are becoming more and more prominent in esports.  It's no wonder we have seen a number of Gambling911.com ad partners and others in the sector boost their eSports betting offerings.  SCROLL DOWN FOR MORE

BetDSI, a Gambling911.com ad partner, has devoted an entire page to eSports.

A look at their current outright bet offerings (also known as futures) revealed six events in which to bet on, including the eWorld Cup.

Dota 2
To Win The International 2018
League of Legends
Winner of World Championship 2018
To win Asian Games
FIFA
To Win eWorld Cup

This trend is not likely to fade any time soon.

From ESI:

We’re continuously seeing bookmakers seize more and more opportunities where they can conjoin efforts that coincide with their esports division; publishers, developers, leagues, events and content creators are all apart of this budding algorithm.

Of utmost importance is the match integrity.

Chief Operating Officer of Rivalry.gg, Steven Salz tells ESI: “We believe integrity is crucial to having sustainability in the growth of esports betting as any incident of match-throwing or suspicion sets the industry back. Integrity in the matches, and thus trust from the consumer in the the integrity of the betting lines allows the industry to flourish.”

ESI also focused on the advertising and content relationship.

Regarding advertising, they write:

Being esports are still so young in the grand scheme of things, it’s important to nurture the bond between that and betting in a delicate way as the two grow systematically.

And the content:

Beyond slapping a logo on a stream or jersey, bookmakers are doubling down on efforts by creating exclusive content of all kinds alongside partnership deals; there’s no shortage of variety here either, just take a look at Betway’s YouTube page if you don’t believe us. Recognised as a market leader in esports betting, any report on collaboration between the two spaces would be incomplete without mentioning the outreach of Betway.
