It's the American boxing injection everyone needed to kick off 2026.
The blockbuster junior welterweight bout between Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson was unveiled Monday morning.
Lopez vs Stevenson is one of the bigger match-ups that could have been made in US boxing,
The 140-pound clash scheduled for January 31 will see Lopez defend his WBO and Ring welterweight titles against the undefeated Stevenson, who moves up to junior welterweight.
Stevenson is unbeaten at 24-0, and he's a three-division world champion, having held gold at featherweight, super-featherweight and lightweight.

Stevenson said of his upcoming bout:
