LONDON - Virgin Games is on the hunt for an agency to handle its UK advertising business

The successful shop will be responsible for helping to relaunch the Virgin Games brand, in an effort to help it gain greater market share.

Virgin Games does not have a retained ad agency. It previously used Lean Mean Fighting Machine for digital work, but parted company with the agency at the end of 2008.

During its time on the account, LMFM created award-winning campaigns, including a digital push launched to coincide with the weekly Big Brother nominations that promoted Virgin Games' betting service. It won a gold Cyber Lion at Cannes in 2008.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Virgin Games was preparing to move into the non-gambling PC games market, after signing a deal with Game Domain International.
