Sure the folks in this region will bet on anything including what should be a competitive Dolphins NFL team and we know how Heat mania had spread for a number of years with Lebron James.

But make no mistake about it: Hardcore South Florida fans love their college teams, both in football and in basketball.

This year's Miami Hurricanes were concluding the regular season ranked 11th in the nation with just six losses on the season at the time this was going to press.

This comes after the Canes finished 25-13 last season, advancing into the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament where they lost to Notre Dame.

South Florida gamblers will be in need of a bookie during the months leading up to Football season as the Miami Heat have enjoyed a successful season to date and should make the post season.  Baseball also promises to captivate gamblers with the Miami Marlins.

AcePerHead is offering special deals for bookies in the region and they have staff who are fluent in Spanish.  They also offer live in-play wagering on most games.
