Nvidia Corporation is an American multinational corporation and technology company headquartered in Santa Clara, California, and incorporated in Delaware.

It is a dominant supplier of artificial intelligence (AI) hardware and software.

Nvidia's stock leaps above $1,100 for the first time ever, and we can thank Elon Musk for that.

Musk’s artificial intelligence startup xAI said Sunday that it raised $6 billion in a Series B funding round, sending Nvidia stock up as much as 8% the following trading day.

According to The Information, Musk plans to use Nvidia chips for a new "supercomputer" that will be used to power xAI's chatbot named Grok.

"xAI will continue on this steep trajectory of progress over the coming months, with multiple exciting technology updates and products soon to be announced," Sunday's blog post read.

Polymarket began offering the betting market on Nvidia becoming the largest company by June 15, 2024.  Microsoft is currently the largest company in the world, with a market cap of $3.1 trillion, according to Forbes.

This market will resolve to "Yes" if Nvidia is the largest company in the world by market cap any point between May 27 and market close on June 14, 2024. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".

The resolution source for this market will be a consensus of credible reporting.
