Kentucky Derby Quick Takes
Hit Show (30-1) - Brad Cox trained but the inside draw will be mighty tough to overcome.
Verifying (15-1) - Also trained by Brad Cox. Tyler Gaffalione hasn't had much luck in his five previous Derbies, with his best finish 7th in 2019.
Confidence Game (20-1) - A strong closer but hasn't run since late February.
Tapit Trice (5-1) - Four straight wins and a great post position. He's also trained by Todd Pletcher.
Reincarnate (50-1) - The value for this horse is insane. He's never finished worse than 3rd in seven career starts and is being ridden by hall-of-fame rider John Velazquez.
Mage (15-1) - Starting at a great spot and finished 2nd in the Florida Derby, a race where the winners have gone on to be victorious in 24 Derbies.
Practical Move (10-1) - Two wins in two starts this year and has hasn't finished worse than third in seven career starts.
Angel of Empire (8-1) - Brad Cox trained and winner of the Arkansas Derby.
Forte (3-1) - Won the all-important Florida Derby and has had the most well-rounded success of any entry in this year's Derby. He's trained by Todd Pletcher.
Derma Sotogake (10-1) - UAE Derby winner starts from a post position that has no victories. The UAE Derby is yet to win the Kentucky Derby either.
