You Have Two Teams in the NBA Playoffs

This Kentucky Derby you'll be able to place bets on the Golden State Warriors and the LA Lakers.  Had the Warriors not advanced, another California team would have made the Playoffs as Golden State was facing off against Sacramento.

As of Derby Week, Golden State would pay out $550 on a $100 bet to win the NBA Championship.  The Lakers would pay $750.

Don't doubt Lebron.  Despite the Lakers being an underdog in their series against Memphis, LA advanced thanks in no small part to King James.

James scored at least 21 points in five of the six games against the Grizzlies.

And Golden State?

Stephen Curry scored a career high 50 points in Game 7.  That will do the trick.  Entering Game 3, the Warriors were down 0-2.

“It’s amazing ’cuz you’re still in the fight,” Curry said. “Better than the alternative of on the outside looking in. Having been down 0-2 in this series, nothing was guaranteed, you don’t take anything for granted.”
