Kansas State Futures 2023

The Kansas State Wildcats were favored to win UNDER 8.5 regular season games at -130.  They would pay out $8000 for every $100 bet with a College Football Playoff Championship victory.

Kansas Jayhawks Futures 2023

Kansas was a pretty big favorite to win UNDER 5.5 regular season games at -150.

Kansas State @ Oklahoma State October 6, 2023

KSU will face off against Oklahoma State as a -11.5 road favorite Friday night.  The Wildcats currently own a 3-1 record both Straight Up and Against The Spread.  The Cowboys come into this game with a disappointing 2-2 record and one cover.

Kansas State was stunned by Mizzou on September 16 as a -3 road favorite.

75% of the cash was coming in on the KSU spread though the money wasn't significant as of Friday morning at around $150,000.  The line has moved between 11 and 12.

Week 3 Action

KSU Wildcats

They entered this game on the road against Missouri as a -4.5 to -3.5 favorite.  KSU was rated No. 11 on Sagarin (85.99) while Missouri was coming in at No. 73 (69.54) plus the 2.24 home field advantage, resulting in an actual line of -14.21 for an underlay of 10 to 11 points that should favor KSU and we had them as our play.

Though the Wildcats easily won their first two games of the season, healthy reinforcements on the offensive line won't be available until Week 4.

Christian Duffie, a 6-foot-5 and 300-pound senior right tackle, was expected to miss his third straight game of the season with an injury.

KSU was not at their best on the offensive side of things despite the wins by more than 40 points in both games thus far.

From Kansas.com:

Opposing teams have been able to pressure quarterback Will Howard from the right so regularly that K-State has moved All-American left guard Cooper Beebe to right tackle for long stretches. That move has limited the team’s ability to run the ball between the tackles, which resulted in just 147 rushing yards against the Trojans.
