Can I bet on UFC 227 From My State?
You can bet the UFC 227 fights from all US states online using any number of top internationally-licensed online gambling websites, some of which have been in business for nearly 20 years now. Likewise, a handful of US states have paved the way for sportsbooks at casinos and racetracks following a landmark Supreme Court ruling that abolished sports wagering prohibition back in May.
The main event Saturday August 4 features two-time bantamweight champ T.J. Dillashaw going up against Cody Garbrandt.
This one is expected to be highly competitive with Dillashaw at -115 and Garbrandt at -105.
States such as New Jersey, Delaware and, of course, Nevada, should be taking bets at specified locales for UFC 227. Mississippi and West Virginia are expected to begin offering sports betting at designated casinos in time for this season's NFL, just not for UFC 227.
Because the Meadowlands in New Jersey will be taking bets on UFC 227, New York City residents can - in theory at least - head on over to place their bets. Be forewarned, however, Gambling911.com has received complaints of early closings at the FanDuel-branded Meadowlands sportsbook and UFC 227 will start at 10 pm EST Saturday August 4.
Pay Per Head software platforms like that offered by PremierPerHead.com allow for residents to run their own online sportsbooks for real money for friends and family, as well as their friends family, and so on down the line.
