LAS VEGAS - (Gambling911.com) - The online sweepstakes casino site ClubWPT Gold announced Thursday it will be ceasing operations in the state of Nevada.

"We are incredibly grateful for our Nevada community, which makes this announcement especially difficult to share," a company notice reads.
"As part of changes to our operations in response to state regulatory action, ClubWTP Gold will be winding down services in Nevada."
The announcement coincided with news that all purchases on the site will cease immediately, postal requests will no longer be accepted and sweepstakes game play will no longer be available effective this coming Monday September 28, 2026.
The company is encouraging affected customers to make redemption requests no later than October 2, 2026.
The World Poker Tour-branded online poker platform that has evolved from a conventional sweepstakes-poker model into a poker-training + cash-prize model. The company has faced challenges from some state regulators who, over the past year, have aggressively begun cracking down on sweepstakes casino operators.
