The Cyclones were missing Keshon Gilbert for the third time in five games but Jones maintained his role as one of the nation's top sixth-men, averaging 17.3 points during the 22 games he's come off the pine. He'll play an important role for the 10th ranked Cyclones as they enter the postseason as a strong contender in both the Big 12 and NCAA tournaments."
Iowa State will take on the Bearcats on Wednesday in the Big 12 Championship 2nd round. They were a -8 overnight favorite.
