Men's Basketball College Player Prop Bets for the 2025 NCAA Tournament
We won't know the seeding for this year's NCAA Men's College Basketball Tournament until the Selection Sunday announcements but we do know some of the stars who will taking part in the 2025 March Madness. BetUS will feature a full menu of player and game props throughout the tournament.
Cooper Flagg, Kon Knueppel (Duke)
The Duke phenom will be available for Duke during the NCAA Tournament after suffering an ankle injury during Thursday's 78-70 win over Georgia Tech. That's great news.
Flagg is the current consensus pick to go first overall in this year's NBA Draft.
Prior to being sidelined, Flagg amassed 15 points (6-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, six assists and four blocks in 29 minutes during the Blue Devils March 9 82-69 victory over North Carolina.
Flagg's stat averages this season: Points: 19.4. Rebounds: 7.6. Assists: 4.1. Shooting: 49.
Flagg may be the marquee star of this squad but BetUS will also have plenty of prop bets for Kon Knueppel, once the team's leading scorer.
Knueppel posted 18 points (6-12 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 6-6 FT), eight rebounds, three assists and two steals over 38 minutes during Saturday's 73-62 victory over Louisville.
From NBC Edge:
"Knueppel stepped up once again and was one of the top performers for Duke on their way to the ACC title. Flagg should be Duke's go-to option in the NCAA Tournament, but Knueppel has proven he can be a reliable option on offense as well. He averaged 21.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 1.7 steals per game during the ACC Tournament."
Chaz Lanier (Tennessee)
The Tennessee Vols product, Chaz Lanier, is expected to be listed with an over/under scoring total of 16.5 throughout the 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
Before he's off to the NBA next season, Lanier still has the SEC Tournament and the NCAA Tournament to perform well in. So far, so good for him there.
On Friday, Tennessee was able to take down Texas 83-72, pulling away in the second half.
On Saturday, his team took down mighty Auburn to advance to the SEC Final against Florida. Lanier scored 12 points in that game.
“Just shows the perseverance on this team,” Lanier said. “Basketball is a game of runs, so being able to stop those runs and go your own run, it shows the toughness of this team.”
Alex Karaban (UConn)
The UConn Huskies star, Alex Karaban, accumulated 21 points (6-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and two blocks in 38 minutes in a win against Marquette on March 6.
The junior forward out-rebounded every player on Marquette as well, eventually leading his team to a huge win to kick off March.
The reigning champs would go on to win against Seton Hall and Villanova before falling to Creighton.
Karaban should shine in this year's tournament despite the Huskies not quite playing up to expectations this season.
“I feel fine with how everything is right now,” said Karaban, who is averaging 14.3 points and five rebounds. “Obviously I probably went through a month or so where I didn’t shoot as well as I wanted, but what Coach has talked to me a lot about is we’re all in this spot together and we’ve got to embrace what’s happening right now with the team. So I’m perfectly fine with where it’s at. We’re going to continue to figure it out as a team. I’m going to continue to figure it out as a player. And just live where we’re at right now. Coming off a great game against Providence, my confidence is high right now.”

Johni Broome (Auburn)
Broome ended Friday's 62-57 win over Ole Miss with 23 points (8-14 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 7-10 FT), 15 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 35 minutes.
From Rotowire:
"Broome dominated the paint against Ole Miss, pulling down 15 rebounds, his most since Jan. 29 against LSU. He also got to the free throw line plenty, and his big day was crucial in what wasn't exactly an easy win for the Tigers in the SEC Tournament quarterfinals."
Mark Sears (Alabama)
Sears amassed nine points (3-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and seven assists across 40 minutes during the March 8 93-91 OT win over Auburn.
Alabama needed a big game from its leading scorer versus Florida on Saturday, but Sears was unable to deliver as he continued his struggles from behind the arc, unable to connect on any of his four attempts. He was unable to score a single field goal in the second half and finished with just nine points on the day.
