And it looks as though the betting public is waiting to make a move at the betting window with very little movement on the opening college football lines.

There are a few other games on the Week 14 slate that include a number of makeup contests that were postponed earlier in the season, and while it’s the smallest schedule since the opening of the season, it’s definitely the most important.

A game that doesn’t have conference title implications but carries bragging rights in Northern California will take place a few weeks after originally scheduled. The spread for the Big Game between Cal and Stanford has shifted a point in favor of the Cardinal, who are getting a majority of the early action. Also, the American Athletic and Mountain West Conference title games will feature a rematch from last year while the Sun Belt will play its first championship game on Saturday.

Here’s a look at some of the biggest movers in early Week 14 betting action at BookMaker.eu.

Week 14 Major Line Moves

Pittsburgh vs. Clemson

Opening Line: Clemson -24.5

Current Line: Clemson -27.5

The Tigers have been machine-like in their annihilation of opponents this season and it’s led to the second-most lopsided spread in ACC Championship Game history. Clemson opened as a 24.5-point favorite and the line has steadily increased with the defending ACC champion, undefeated, and No. 2 ranked Tigers getting 70 percent of the play. Pitt has quietly gone about its business and wrapped up its first Coastal Division crown with a week left in the regular season. The Panthers were mauled last week by Miami and need to overcome that defeat that saw them produce just a field goal. This is a mismatch on paper, however Pitt can look back on its visit to Clemson two years ago when the Panthers strolled into Memorial Stadium as a 21.5-point dog and upset the Tigers 43-42.

East Carolina at North Carolina State

Opening Line: NC State -25

Current Line: NC State -23

A late addition to the schedule after both teams had a game cancelled earlier in the year, this in-state matchup won’t come near the rivalry-fueled carnage we saw between the Pack and UNC last week. The skirmish at the end of that game cost three Pack players the first half of this game, which could be a reason why the spread dropped from its opening of NC State -25 to -23. Scottie Montgomery and his Pirates are probably wondering why this game was added. Of course, when it was added back in October, ECU was only on its way to becoming as bad as they are. It’s all about pride for the Pirates, who will play their last game of the season on Saturday. They were obliterated 56-6 by Cincinnati in their last game and have just three wins on the season. But it’s a rivalry nonetheless and ECU has won the last three meetings, so maybe the public knows a little something.

UAB vs. Middle Tennessee

Opening Line: Middle Tennessee -3

Current Line: Middle Tennessee -1.5

This is an interesting matchup because the teams just played last week in the regular season finale and they meet this week in the Conference USA Championship Game. The circumstances were a bit different last week with UAB’s spot in the title game already secured while MTSU needed a win and a FIU loss. And it turned out in favor of the Blue Raiders, who won their game 27-3 while FIU was defeated. And by virtue of the victory, MTSU will host the Blazers again on Saturday. The line for last week’s game was all over the place, eventually jumping the fence in favor of UAB. But the Blazers didn’t show up and were squelched in their attempt for a 10th victory, totaling just 89 yards of offense. That won’t happen this week and the public agrees, wagering the line down in early action.
