2024-2025 CFP, Heisman Changes and Week 14 Opening Lines

We're 13 weeks through the college football season, and the 12-team playoff picture is cloudier than ever.

We’re down to one undefeated team after Army and Indiana got smashed yesterday.

Alabama and Ole Miss were upset yesterday and now they each have three losses. Bubble teams like BYU and Colorado in the Big 12 also lost.

So many questions abound, and we have so few games left. It should be an exciting finish.

Below are some notes on the odds changes after Week 13.

Below the CFP and Heisman odds are Week 14 opening lines.

CFP

  • Ohio State remains the favorite.
  • Georgia passed Oregon for second.
  • BYU’s loss moved their odds from 100/1 to 250/1.
  • Some teams whose odds shortened:
    • Notre Dame from 22/1 to 14/1.
    • Tennessee 40/1 to 20/1.
    • SMU from 50/1 to 35/1.
    • ASU from 250/1 to 75/1.
  • Some teams whose odds lengthened:
    • Alabama from 8/1 to 40/1.
    • Ole Miss from 9/1 to 100/1.
    • Colorado from 33/1 to 200/1.
  • Army, BYU, Iowa State, and Texas A&M are now off the board.

 

Heisman

  • Travis Hunter is the largest favorite of the season so far at 1/12 (-1200).
  • The top four order is unchanged.
  • All of the other players from last week have been removed from the board: Bryson Daily, Cade Klubnik, Jalex Milroe, Jaxson Dart, Kurtis Rourke and Shedeur Sanders.
