Austin Simmons of Ole Miss had a passing yards total set at 260.5 versus Kentucky for Week 2. Compare that to the opposing starter, Zach Calzada (UK), with just 160.5. It's easy to see why the line is Mississippi -9.
From RotoWire:
Simmons was 20-for-31 passing for 341 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions during Saturday's 63-7 victory versus Georgia State. He also had seven rushes for 17 yards.
ANALYSIS
Simmons saw his first action as the Ole Miss starter and made the most of it with over 300 yards and three touchdowns. However Simmons will need to cut down on his mistakes before SEC play rolls around.
