Bill Belichick is in the news at UNC and it’s not because he’s turned the program around or the team has shown any type of growth.
The rumor mill is churning with him potentially not making it through the season with the Tar Heels and the two sides working on a potential agreement on a reasonable buyout deal on the guaranteed money he is owed.
On Wednesday, both Belichick and the University released kumbaya statements but it seems evident there is so smoke there.
As far as the on-field performance…the Tar Heels are 2-3 beating Charlotte and FCS team Richmond. They have lost all three games against Power Four Conference opponents 120-33.
The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag have re-opened some Belichick lines as well as added some new ones.
