BetOnline has your player prop bets for the USC vs. LSU game on Sunday, one which Dave Mason of BetOnline says will be "the most wagered on game of the weekend".

No. 23-ranked Southern California was coming in as a +4 home dog here against the No. 13-ranked Tigers.  The stadium is completely sold out, so we should not underestimate the home field advantage in this one.

Sagarin's number of Tigers 3.68 suggests this line is right on the money.

The line on this game has moved from LSU -6.5 to -4.  Our own model, developed over the past two college football seasons, does not give any type of edge to teams in this line movement range with only the slightest exception for overlays (the 6.5) going more towards the dog.  Action is pretty balanced here as well.

USC vs. LSU Player Prop Bets

Garrett Nussmeier of LSU is listed with a passing yards total of 285.5 while Miller Moss has a slightly better number of 288.5 at BetOnline.

Nussmeier entered seven games for LSU in 2022, all off the bench, throughout which he completed 62% of his passes: totaling 800 yards, five touchdowns, and four interceptions.

He made his first start with the team in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl in January, earning MVP honors after throwing for 395 yards and three touchdowns.   More importantly, he earned the starting QB honors for 2024.

Nussmeier says this LSU team will be explosive and fun to watch.

"I think we’re a very, very close knit group," he said of the Tigers offense in particular.  "I think we’ve meshed together very well from the Spring to Summer to now. I think we’ve done an outstanding job coming together, of establishing our identity of who we want to be. I think we’re going to be explosive and very physical. And it’s going to be something that’s fun to watch."

Kyren Lacy is arguably the most accomplished receiver on No. 13 LSU’s roster now with 826 yards receiving in two seasons with the Tigers.

Lacy's receiving yards total options included payouts that start at $152 for every $100 bet at 90+

Moss led the Trojans to a 42–28 win and was named offensive MVP after throwing a Holiday Bowl–record six touchdowns to conclude last season.

USC players trust in Miller's skills.

Receiver Jay Fair said:  "Miller has been a great leader so far. When I first got here, Miller sent out a text to all of the guys, and we all got together. We threw, and we hung out together. That was my first time meeting everybody. When it happened, I was pretty excited, and I had a great feeling about this year.

"He's made sure [the newer guys are] adjusting well and making sure we know what's coming up as far as plays and the offensive install. He's done a great "

USC quarterback coach Luke Huard told 247Sports that "Miller cares about people. He is a true genuine person who cares about our guys on and off the field. So I think our players feel that. He's certainly someone that if they need him in any scenario, he's going to be there for his teammates, and he loves football. He loves to pour into his teammates. Quarterbacks in a sense can be like the extension of your coaching staff on the field. So he obviously has a really, really good knowledge of the system and he does a great job of sharing with his teammates, and kind of being an extra coach on the field."
