Player prop bets will be available for the August 29 game between North Carolina and Minnesota.

A number of states where sports betting is regulated now prohibit player prop bets on college games.  Still other states do not currently regulate sports betting at all.  That's where our friends at BetUS come in.  As an internationally licensed online sportsbook, BetUS takes bets from just about everywhere, and they have been doing so for 31 years now.

UNC Player Prop Bets

  • Omarion Hampton, RB
  • J.J. Jones, WR
  • Power Echols, LB
  • Kaimon Rucker, DE
  • Max Johnson, QB

Johnson has the unenviable task of trying to take over for Drake Maye. Johnson is playing for his third school.

Johnson appeared in 12 games over two seasons for the Aggies, but never started a full season during his time in College Station. He appeared in eight games during the 2023 season, filling in for the injured Conner Weigman. Johnson threw for 1,452 yards, nine touchdowns, and 5 interceptions in 2023.

The Tar Heels are slightly favored to win Over 7.5 regular season games in 2024.

Additional Thoughts

SI.com had this to say about Brosmer:

Brosmer is the surefire starter next season after a 2023 campaign in which he threw for 3,459 yards, 29 touchdowns and just six interceptions. That followed a 2022 season in which he threw for 3,154 yards, 27 touchdowns and eight interceptions.

As an experienced veteran, Brosmer should have all the tools to succeed at the U. Top receiver Daniel Jackson is still in the mix, and the Gophers have taken to the portal to add a number of new potentially dangerous weapons. Darius Taylor also returns to the backfield, which should take pressure off Brosmer under center. Expect an improved passing attack, led by Brosmer, in 2024.
