Sheppard logged 12 carries for 91 yards and two touchdowns and gathered in their only target for six yards during Saturday's 45-21 win over California.

ANALYSIS
Sheppard's breakout continued as Duke pounded California on Saturday night. He found the end zone twice for the second straight game, and only needed 12 carries to near 100 yards rushing. Anderson Castle also saw 10 carries in the Blue Devils' backfield, but given the lopsided nature of the win, that was to be expected. Sheppard clearly remains the top dog in Duke's running back room.
King completed 20 of 24 passes for 213 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 35-20 win over Virginia Tech. He also had 14 rushes for 60 yards with two touchdowns.
