BetOnline has updated the betting line for the highly anticipated Week 5 game between the UGA Bulldogs and Alabama Crimson Tide.  This line change comes after Week 2.

It's not much of a change as Georgia opened as the -4 road favorite.  They were now at -4.5 after Week 2.  For live odds please visit the BetOnline website here.

For Georgia, Carson Beck threw five touchdown passes — to five players — before leaving the game less than three minutes into the third quarter, leading the No. 1 Bulldogs to a 48-3 rout against outmanned Tennessee Tech in Week 2.

“I thought our wide receivers had a really good day,” Beck said. “We have so many athletes on the field. They went out there and made plays. When guys are wide open, it makes my job really easy.”

Beck’s five TD passes matched a school record that had been done seven other times, most recently by Stetson Bennett against UAB in 2021.

But it was the Week 1 win over Clemson that made it abundantly clear the Bulldogs will be a force once again this season.  That was a dominating 34-3 victory.

Alabama had yet to face much in the way of any competition.  They beat their two opponents by a combined 107-16.

Jalen Milroe ran for two touchdowns and threw for a pair of fourth-quarter scores to help the fourth-ranked Crimson Tide ultimately pull away to beat South Florida 42-16 in their Week 2 game.
