Kalel Mullings had a rushing yards total of 101.5 in the Wolverines Championship rematch versus Washington on Saturday evening.

Both teams are still good but their current rankings speak volumes.  Michigan is ranked No. 10 in the nation with a 4-1 record while Washington does not rank and is just 3-2 thus far.

Mullings is one of the main reasons Michigan is even competitive this season as the Wolverines offense continues to struggle.

Mullings carried 17 times for 159 yards and two touchdowns in a win over then No. 11 USC.

He led the team in carries (53), rushing yards (429) and rushing touchdowns (four) through the first four weeks of the season.

Nick Wright of Athlon Sports writes of the Wolverines:

While the Wolverines are lacking consistency in their quarterback's performance, they have one of the most talented teams in all of NCAA football. With Mason Graham (6' 3", 320 lbs) and Kenneth Graham (6' 3", 340 lbs) plugging up holes on the defensive line, it's been difficult for opposing offensives to out gain the Wolverines on the ground. Add to that two phenomenal edge starters in Josaiah Stewart and Derrick Moore and you can see why Michigan's rushing game has out-performed their competitors by nearly 600 yards.

Gambling911.com is backing Michigan +1.5 in this one.
