Seth Henigan threw for 272 yards and two touchdowns — the 40th straight game he has tossed a TD pass — as Memphis handed Florida State their third straight upset loss, winning 20-12 on Saturday.

“Winning is hard, and I never want to minimize a win,” Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield said. “But this is monumental. Let’s call it what it is. To go on the road, regardless of the record, they were preseason No. 10 in the country.
“It’s huge for our program. This is a game that’s going to be remembered for a long time.”
Memphis remains undefeated. Navy will come into Saturday's game undefeated as well. One of these two teams will go down.
Quarterback Blake Horvath tallied 234 total yards and four touchdowns and Navy beat Temple 38-11 as the two teams commenced American Athletic Conference play on Saturday.
Horvath ran for 122 yards on 15 carries and three touchdowns and threw for 112 yards and a touchdown. Navy (2-0, 1-0) outgained Temple (0-2, 0-1) by a margin of 409-312 and committed just four penalties.
The Midshipmen's defense recorded the game’s first points on a safety when Temple quarterback Forest Brock was tackled in the end zone following a 7-yard loss.
The betting line on this game was as high as -11 favoring Memphis early in the week. The number has primarily moved between -10 and -9.5.
