The Cure Bowl takes place Wednesday evening at 5 pm ET with the Old Dominion Monarchs and the South Florida Bulls each owning 9-3 records. South Florida opened as a -3 point favorite but that line moved to -7.
South Florida defeated Rice 52-3 on Saturday, Nov. 29. Byrum Brown led South Florida with 275 yards on 16-of-24 passing (66.7%) for four touchdowns and no interceptions. He also carried the ball 15 times for 104 yards and one rushing touchdown. Samuel Franklin had 65 rushing yards on 10 carries. Singleton recorded 125 yards on six catches with two touchdowns.
Old Dominion beat Georgia State 27-10 on Saturday, Nov. 29. Joseph passed for 106 yards on 9-of-22 attempts (40.9%) with no touchdowns and one interception. He also carried the ball 19 times for 108 yards and one rushing touchdown. Devin Roche carried the ball 21 times for 137 yards and scored two touchdowns. Ja’Cory Thomas put up 64 yards on four catches.
