Gambling911.com has released four free picks for Week 7 in college football as documented at the G911 Sports Hub.

Oregon State @ Nevada

The Beavers don't really stand a chance of making the College Football Playoffs by virtue of their status as a team without a conference, this despite their one loss on the season thus far.

The detected underlay here is nearly triple with Oregon State at -3.5 and the Sagarin Ratings suggesting the number should be closer to -9.

Our own model has favorites with underlays in the 3/3.5/4 range covering at an 82% clip over the past two years per our decent size sampling.

Winners and Whiners sees what we see:

This line is too small, Oregon State should be a much bigger favorite in this one, and will easily win by more than a field goal. The game is in Nevada, which is the main reason this spread is only three points, but home-field advantage does not mean much for the Wolf Pack, as they are only 1-2 on their home field. SMU won in Nevada, but SMU was going to win that game no matter where they played. Similarly, the win over Eastern Washington does not hold much weight, as Nevada should take down FCS schools. The most telling game was the loss to Georgia Southern, Nevada was favored against the Sun Belt school, but Southern found a way to win despite only going 2-10 on third down, and rushing for only 42 yards. Oregon State packs a much heavier punch, they shut out San Diego State on the road and beat Purdue by 17. The Beavers will be able to run the ball successfully, they have two running backs to rotate as both Hankerson and Griffin are averaging over 90 yards per game on the ground. McCoy has experience under his belt after starting for the past two years at Idaho, a road game at Nevada will not be a stage too big. The Beavers are on a revenge tour after how conference realignment shook out, they will look good again on Saturday.

Take Oregon State to win and cover.

We say take Oregon State as well.

Arizona @ BYU

This is almost the same situation as above with a significant underlay detected.

The No. 14 Cougars (5-0, 2-0 Big 12) head into Saturday’s showdown with Arizona as one of two unbeaten Big 12 teams largely because of their newfound knack for disrupting offenses and putting quarterbacks under pressure drive after drive.

Through five games, the Cougars have tallied 10 sacks and 27 tackles for loss. Jack Kelly leads the way with three sacks while he and Isaiah Glasker have a team-high five TFLs apiece. Last season, BYU ranked last in the Big 12 in both sacks (11) and tackles for loss (51).

“It’s nothing new from what we ran last year,” senior defensive end Logan Lutui said. “We are just more urgent and able to execute our calls and that’s what happens when we execute. We find success getting to the QB.”

BYU is our play here at -3.

Ohio State @ Oregon

This is the "Game of the Week" by a long shot and here we have an overlay of about a point.  These tend to bode well for the underdog based on our model, though the overlay detected here is rather minute.

Gino Russo is one of the best in the biz when it comes to college football picks, and he just happens to be on Oregon, as are we.

Penn State @ USC

USC is a +3.5 home dog.  Sagarin suggests the Nittany Lions win here by 1.5 points.

We are on USC.

Purdue Boilermakers Next Head Coach Odds

Purdue candidates include Tim Lester, Iowa offensive coordinator, as well as JaMarcus Shephard, Alabama offensive coordinator, but SportsBetting.ag has someone else favored.  Who could that be?
