Sawyer Robertson comes in with an Over/Under of 247.5 passing yards vs. Baylor for Friday night's game.

In October 2024, Robertson was named among the Great 8 for the Davey O’Brien Award and also recognized in the Manning Award.

On December 2, 2024, he earned the Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 310 yards and four touchdowns in a 45–17 victory over Kansas.

Robertson threw for 3,071 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions, completing 62.2% of his passes in 2024. 

He added 230 rushing yards and 4 rushing touchdowns 

Robertson ranked among Baylor program’s best for single-season passing efficiency, yards, completions, completion percentage, TDs, and touchdown-to-interception ratio 

He also enjoyed a career-high 445 passing yards and two touchdowns against LSU in the Texas Bowl.

On facing Auburn: “It’s huge… it’s on us if we don’t prepare the right way.”

On the significance of Baylor’s Week 1 home opener and the challenge it presents:

“Yeah, no, it’s huge. I mean, obviously a lot of respect for them. ... we know what we have week one. We know the stage that we’re playing on. ... And so there’s no – I mean, it’s on us if we don’t prepare the right way for those guys.”
