South Alabama comes into their game against Troy with a line of -13.5.

Jordan McCloud accounted for four touchdowns, three of them through the air, and Texas State defeated Troy 38-17 on Thursday night.

The week prior, Troy was defeated 13-9 by UL Monroe.

South Alabama, meanwhile, lost a tight one to Arkansas State last week, 18-16.

Gio Lopez threw for 292 yards and a touchdown for South Alabama (2-4, 1-1). Pritchett had 137 receiving yards with seven catches and two touchdowns, including one for 75 yards.

Louisiana Tech is an -11 point favorite versus New Mexico State Saturday.

Freshman Evan Bullock threw touchdown passes on four straight drives to open the game and ran for a score on the fifth as Louisiana (2-3) Tech cruised to a 48-21 victory over Middle Tennessee on Thursday night.

New Mexico State has won just a single game this season.  They lost 54-13 to Jacksonville State last week.
