Updated CFP and Heisman lines after Week 4 - 2024
Week 4 of the college football season is in the rear-view mirror and there have been some interesting future line movements at BetOnline.ag.
Here are some notes on the odds changes after Week 4.
CFP
Ohio State remains the favorite.
The order of the top nine favorites is unchanged. I have never seen this going from Week 4 to Week 5.
And with so few upsets, many teams odds are the same as last week.
Speaking of Florida State, on another note, they already have gone under their win total.
Some teams whose odds shortened
There were very few big changes.
Washington State from 500/1 to 300/1.
Indiana, Liberty and UNLV from 750/1 to 500/1.
BYU, Illinois and James Madison from 1000/1 to 500/1.
Some other teams whose odds are longer now
USC 50/1 to 22/1.
Kansas State from 60/1 to 150/1.
Boise State from 100/1 to 200/1.
Nebraska and Oklahoma State from 150/1 to 300/1.
Syracuse from 300/1 to 750/1.
43 teams are now off the board.
At this point in the season, unless you are undefeated or have one loss and play in a Power Four conference, the team will most likely be off the board.
Heisman
Cam Ward remains the favorite.
Jaxson Dart went from third to second
Arch Manning is back on the board at 14/1.
Jeremiah Smith is now on the board.
Biggest risers
Travis Hunter from 25/1 to 12/1
Drew Allar from 40/1 to 25/1.
Luther Burden III went from 100/1 to 75/1.
Biggest fallers.
Ashton Jeanty from 12/1 to 28/1.
Arch Manning from 14/1 to 50/1.
Shedeur Sanders from 66/1 to 100/1.
Quinn Ewers is back on the board at 16/1.
John Mateer of Washington State went from OTB to 33/1.
Avery Johnson, Dylan Raiola, Jackson Arnold, Jalon Daniels, Kyle McCord and Ollie Gordon II are now off the board.
Note: Arrows down meant the odds got shorter and the team’s odds improved to win the title. Arrow up, means teams odds got longer as did their chances to win the CFP. OTB means off the board.
