Colorado vs Georgia Tech Passing Yards Prop Bet Payouts: Alberto Mendoza, Julian Lewis

OAKLAND PARK, Fla (Gambling911.com) - Colorado vs. Georgia Tech is a game that should attract some decent betting action, even if neither team has better than 60-1 odds of winning the 2027 College Football Playoff National Championship.  It's expected to be a competitive game as well with the Yellow Jackets an under a touchdown (-6.5) favorite.  Here we look at the passing yards prop bets for both Alberto Mendoza and Julian Lewis. 

Mendoza is an American college football quarterback for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He previously played for the Indiana Hoosiers. He is the younger brother of Heisman Trophy winner and Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Fernando Mendoza.

Mendoza was labeled as the "likely" Week 1 starter in the spring, and now the depth chart backs that up. He'll get the nod under center over Grady Adamson, who shone in spring ball but didn't do enough to overtake Mendoza for the QB1 role.

Colorado has much longer odds to win the championship at +125000.  They lost five straight games to close out the Big 12 season.  Coach Prime is in the "starting over" stage to be certain. 

Lewis will start for the Buffaloes. A five-star recruit out of Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia, he was one of the top-ranked recruits for the college football recruiting class of 2025.

While his accuracy hasn't always been great, Lewis has the tools to perform well.
