Darline Graham No Longer a Lock to Win South Carolina Senate Race, Price Dips to -300

COLUMBIA, S.C. (Gambling911.com) - The South Carolina Senate race continues to tighten.

Over the last 24 hours, Republican candidate and sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, Darline Graham, odds to win this senate race were slashed from -400 to -300.  Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Dr. Annie Andrews now pays out $24 for every $10 bet or $240 for every $100 bet.

Republican Sen. Tim Scott has said that South Carolina was not among the 10 toss-up states his National Republican Senatorial Committee was concentrating on. That may have changed on Wednesday.

For the first time, both candidates were in a dead heat.

As of October 28, 2026, just six days before Election Day, this is shaping up as one of the more surprising Senate contests in the country.

Latest South Carolina Senate polls
Pollster    Graham (R)    Andrews (D)    Margin
NY Times/Siena, Oct. 26    48%    48%    Tied
SC Policy Council, Oct. 25    47%    46%    Graham +1
The Citadel, Oct. 25    43%    39%    Graham +4
Impact Research, Oct. 21    44%    45%    Andrews +1
Trafalgar, Oct. 18    49%    46%    Graham +3
Rasmussen, Oct. 8    49%    45%    Graham +4

And there are more signs the GOP is scared of losing in what has long been a reliably red state. On October 6, 2026, Republicans announced plans to direct $5 million into South Carolina's U.S. Senate race, an unusual investment in a state that has traditionally been reliably Republican.

The money comes from the Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), a major Republican-aligned super PAC, rather than directly from the Republican National Committee.

And this week, former South Carolina governors David Beasley (a Republican) and Jim Hodges (a Democrat) issued a joint bipartisan endorsement for Andrews.
