Dave Mason of BetOnline offered up a revealing fact immediately after the kickoff of the 2022 Hall of Fame preseason NFL game between the Jaguars and Raiders.
Via Twitter Mason declared that this game had more volume than any of the night's MLB games.
Not only that: Volume was up 21% over last year's HOF Game. This despite stars Derek Carr, Trevor Lawrence and Davante Adams not playing.
Yup, football remains King.

Thiago Santos +300 v Jamahal Hill -400 was certainly a thriller for BetOnline this Saturday night with the house needing the dog and OVER 2.5 rounds.
The top prop liability = Santos RD1 KO/TKO/DQ +1000
The top prop winner = Santos by decision +700
The house lost as Hill stopped Santos in the 4th by TKO. But that also resulted in winning prop bets for BetOnline.
Hill said in his postfight interview that the UFC should "keep pushing me up there."
"I feel like a title shot would be good," he said.
Following that fight, Hill said: "I expected him to come in and shoot [for takedowns]. I'm a hard person to stand with. He mixed it up pretty well."
