Duke, Not UConn, Favored to Win 2025 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament
They hadn't even cut down the nets in Phoenix just yet, but it's never too early to take a look at the NCAAM Basketball Championship odds for the 2024-25 season. BetOnline released those numbers ahead of UConn's second straight title win Monday night.
"We released odds for nearly 100 teams earlier today, and the top of the pack is led by blue bloods from the South," BetOnline revealed.
It's quite interesting to see that, without a current head coach, Kentucky is third on the board.
"We sent out odds for the Wildcats next head coach this morning, and those numbers have changed drastically since release.
As for John Calipari and the Arkansas Razorbacks…they’re clocking in at 25/1. Without Coach Cal, the Hogs would be around 75/1.
Here are some of the notable movements:

Nate Oats - 9/1 to 3/1
Richard Pitino - 3/1 to 10/1
Kelvin Sampson - 9/1 to 20/1
