A little more than one month out from the 2023 Kentucky Derby, there are updated odds for the 149th renewal of the race at Churchill Downs.
SportsBetting.ag updated its odds following a couple of key runs over the weekend with the Florida Derby at Gulfstream Park and the Arkansas Derby at Oaklawn.
Kentucky Derby favorite, Forte, solidified his spot at the top of the odds board following his single-length victory in Florida.
In other field potentials, on just his third career start, Mage became a major mover in the Derby market, moving from 50/1 to 16/1 on the odds board.
The Brad Cox-trained Angel of Empire, who took the Arkansas Derby easily, moved from 40/1 into just 12/1 in the latest Triple Crown market.
The other major market mover due to an influx of wager was UAE Derby winner, Derma Sotagake, improving from 25/1 to 12/1. Derma Sotagake would be the first Japanese-trained victor of the Kentucky Derby.
